The Bismarck Lions Club is dedicated to serving our community in meaningful ways, from supporting those in need with essential resources to improving quality of life for everyone. Globally, we’re known for our work with vision health – providing free eye exams, glasses, and even surgeries for those who need them most. But our club's commitment goes beyond that. Each year, we volunteer with local organizations, support youth programs, and fund community projects that make Bismarck a better place for all. As part of the largest service organization in the world, the Bismarck Lions Club brings people together to serve with compassion, dedication, and a shared purpose of making a difference.
Every Thursday, we provide the Great Start Breakfast at the Dream Center.
We hosted a booth to offer colorblind testing and give out UV sunglasses.
We make tie blankets for those in need, most recently donating to the Dakota Children's Advocacy Center.
We hold donation drives for local charities, most recently helping Youthworks with their "We've Got You Covered" event.
Diabetes Awareness is a passion of our club. Recently we donated books about diabetes to every elementary school in Bismarck.
Each Fall, our club takes a day to volunteer at Papa's Pumpkin Patch.
...AND IT DOESN'T STOP THERE!
OUR GOAL IS TO COMPLETE AT LEAST ONE SERVICE PROJECT PER MONTH.
